Growth Mindset Project

Picture
Picture
I  learned  the  difference  between  growth  and  fixed  mindset.  I  learned  that  growth  mindset  contributes  to  different  disciplines  like  education,  athletes,  and parenting.  I  learned  that  I  am  more  of  a  fixed  mindset  but  I  will  try  to   be  more  like  a  growth  mindset  which  is  better. I  work  well  with  others.  I  try  to  get  their opinions  and  cooperate  them  in  projects  or  works.  Critical  thinking  is  much harder  than  it  seems  but  once  you  get  the  hang  of  it,  it’s  easy.
A  growth  mindset  helps  people  understand  that  their   talents  and  abilities  can be developed  through  effort,  good  teaching,  and  persistence.  Some  ways  a  growth  mindset contributes  to  different  disciplines  are  education,  athletes,  and  family / parenting.

"The Crucible" F.I.N.D Reflection
One fact about "The Crucible" is somewhat based on a real life hysteria. It is based on the Salem With Trial hysteria.  While reading about "The Crucible", I felt curious because I wanted to know what would happen next in the story, since it had good climax but we would stop at those points. A new idea that I learned while reading "The Crucible" is that just because someone/something is popular or trendy we don't always have to act or do it. A personal decision that I will make based on my reading and understanding of "The Crucible" is that I do not want to get dragged in to what is popular. I want to be different make my own choices.

October Reflection
In reaching my academic goals this year its going okay. I'm starting to read more books this year than last year. I need to improve my participation in class. Some of my strengths in this class is getting my work done and turning it on time. Some weaknesses in this class is participation. I talk more now then in the beginning. I feel like i'm a okay writer, i'm the not the best but okay. Something easy for my is getting my work done.  I am going to work more on participation and hope to do more fun projects.

Quickwrite: Freedom + Conflict
Some positive and negative impacts and contributions of both freedom and conflict are that we have freedom to say whatever we want, like we have freedom of speech, assembly, religion, press, and petition but they all have a order that we must follow. We have a certain line that we can not pass. Some cost and benefits of conflicts are that we have the rights to have peaceful argument but some conflicts can cause huge disagreements which can lead to fights or possibly more. Conflict and freedom interrelate, we have freedom to do things but sometimes it can lead into conflict. They are too opposites. It's like good and bad, they are completely different.

Poem Emulation:
O Mother! My Mother!
By: Alondra Alday
O Mother! My Mother! Our bonding adventure,
has just to a breaking point,
our love is unbreakable,
by memories we have made,
but the end is near,
as I recall these memories;

O Mother! My Mother!
I must leave, though I’ll come back,
don’t you worry,
O I’ll perish these memories,
just know I’ll always, be with you,
not in person, be but in heart.
